Founded in 1998, CompoTRON has developed to a well known specialist technologies provider with offices in Germany, United Kingdom, Poland and Denmark.

In 2011, CompoTRON was acquired by ACAL plc. Being managed as an independent entity gives CompoTRON further opportunities for growth in Europe.

CompoTRON’s portfolio covers RF-components, wireless modules and components as well as Fiber Optical Components and subassemblies.

The RF and wireless products range from frequency generation, filters and antennas to ISM band SRD and GSM/GPS solutions. Additionally, CompoTRON provides customized SRD/ISM (433MHz, 868MHz, 2.4GHz) and GSM solutions developed by CompoTRON´s own R&D department.

In October 2011, MTC - Micro Tech Components GmbH was acquired by ACAL plc.

We use the very latest technologies and work with a network of efficient suppliers.

As a manufacturer and supplier of EMC products and ESD materials, MTC offers a wide range of high quality solutions in the field of shielding / electromagnetic compatibility and electrostatic discharge.

Acal is a supplier of specialist technologies across Europe and South Africa, operating through three Divisions: Electronics, Supply Chain and Medical.

The Electronics Division supplies electronic and photonic products to industrial manufacturing and design companies.

Acal has operating companies in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, South Africa, Spain and the Nordic region.

• In 2011, Acal has acquired Hectronic AB, a specialist provider of embedded computing technology to industrial electronic markets and based in Sweden. It has acquired CompoTRON GmbH. a specialist provider of electronic communications components, based in Germany.
  In October Acal plc has also acquired MTC Micro Tech Components GmbH - a specialist in the protection of electronic circuits and the environment from high frequency electromagnetic radiation.
• In 2009, Acal acquired the BFi Optilas group, a supplier of specialist electronic and photonic products.
